FAQs
What is The Ride In?
The Ride In is a coaching and consulting practice that helps leaders, entrepreneurs, and teams align who they are with how they lead.
We combine neuroscience, design thinking, and transformational coaching to guide people through reinvention, clarity, and growth—personally and professionally.
Who do you work with?
We work with visionary leaders, founders, and leadership teams navigating transition, growth, or change.
Our clients tend to share one thing in common: they’ve built success—but they feel called to evolve beyond it.
We also support business and life partners through alignment and communication work, helping them lead together with greater purpose and clarity.
What kind of coaching do you offer?
Our work ranges from 1:1 executive and mindset coaching, to partnership alignment and custom leadership workshops.
Every engagement is tailored—whether you’re looking to deepen self-awareness, break through limiting patterns, or design your next chapter with intention.
How is coaching different from therapy or consulting?
Coaching works in the present with an eye on the future—helping you understand who you’re becoming and how to get there.
While therapy focuses on healing emotional wounds, coaching explores the patterns and stories from your past that still shape your decisions today. The goal isn’t to diagnose or treat, but to bring awareness—and choice—to the behaviours that hold you back from leading with full alignment.
At The Ride In, consulting doesn’t mean advice-giving. It means bringing frameworks, reflection, and lived experience to help you see your situation through a new lens. We hold the space and the structure for your own insights to surface — and for those insights to turn into meaningful action.
What is your coaching style?
Empathic. Grounded. Challenging when needed.
Sessions are conversational but structured. We use methods from neuroscience, IFS (Internal Family Systems), NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), somatic awareness, and design thinking.
You’ll gain tools for reflection and action—and a coach who holds space for your truth while helping you move forward decisively.
How does a Discovery Call work?
The Discovery Call is a free 30-minute conversation to explore where you are, what’s changing, and what you want to create next.
It’s not a sales call—it’s a real conversation. You’ll experience the coaching process, and we’ll both see if it’s the right fit.
What programs do you offer?
We offer a few structured coaching journeys depending on depth and pace:
The Shift (2 months / 4 sessions) – A concentrated sprint to clarify direction, reset mindset, and create immediate momentum.
The Ascent (4 months / 9 sessions) – A focused climb toward clarity and progress, designed to anchor new habits and confidence.
The Ride In (6 months / 21 sessions) – A deep transformational journey for leaders ready to realign who they are with how they lead—from the inside out.
We also offer tailored corporate workshops and leadership team programs.
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions are held virtually via Zoom, though in-person sessions may be arranged for retreats, leadership intensives, or team workshops.
How do I prepare for my first session?
Come with an open mind, a quiet space, and something to write with.
You’ll receive a short intake questionnaire to help you reflect before our first session—it’s designed to ground us both in your goals and patterns.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations with less notice or no-shows are considered completed sessions unless otherwise agreed.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in coaching sessions remains confidential, except when required by law (e.g., risk of harm or court order).
We take privacy and trust seriously—it’s the foundation of this work.
Do you work with organizations or teams?
Yes. We design and facilitate leadership development programs, team alignment workshops, and retreat-based experiences for entrepreneurs and executives.
These are highly customized engagements, blending peer-to-peer learning, mindset work, and practical strategy.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you’re feeling successful on the surface but something deeper is asking for attention—coaching is likely your next step.
It’s not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about remembering what’s true and creating from that place.
What does “The Ride In” mean?
It’s a metaphor borrowed from surfing—that powerful, fulfilling moment when you catch the best wave of your life and ride it all the way back to shore.
It’s not about chasing the next one. It’s about being fully present in the ride—integrating what you’ve lived, learned, and become along the way.
